2. Cyber Range Acceptable Use Policy
Our courses provide access to browser-based sandboxed virtual machines (the "Cyber Range"). The Cyber Range is provided solely for educational and training purposes.
Prohibited Actions
- Attempt to breach the virtualization boundaries or hypervisor layers of the range nodes.
- Utilize the range to launch distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against external hosts.
- Host or distribute illegal content, active botnet control commands, or unlicensed copyrighted materials.
- Mine cryptocurrencies or execute non-course related heavy processing tasks.
- Share VM credential access details with other users or non-registered entities.
Failure to comply with our Acceptable Use Policy will result in immediate account termination without refund and may lead to legal action depending on severity.
3. Disclaimer of Liability
The techniques, exploits, and security concepts taught on HackMentors are for educational purposes. We demonstrate offensive exploits to help developers and security teams defend networks. Under no circumstances is HackMentors liable for any illegal exploits or damage caused by students applying these concepts on third-party systems without written authorization.
